Ezra is a high level competitor with his roots in Australia, where he trained with Kit Dale and since moving to Europe continues under Andre Nunes (Gracie Barra). Besides being active in the competition scene (ao. bronze at the Worlds), Ezra likes teaching jiu-jitsu and helps people to improve their game by focusing on the concepts behind the techniques.

After years training high level Kendo and participating in many (inter)national tournaments Bram decided to give BJJ a try and never looked back. Bram is a very humble person and a patient and friendly instructor always willing to help and explain that detail once more.

Nov. 27, 2016Amsterdam Open 2016

20/11/2016 - Sporthal Karelrijk, Amstelveen

Today a big part of the Gracie Barra Groningen Jiu Jitsu team together with coach Ezra took the journey to Amsterdam. Everybody was motivated to show the ability to compete and gain experience. The Amsterdam Open began 11 o’clock, so the team arrived half an hour earlier for the first weigh ins. Everybody made weight so the competition could go on.

Oct. 15, 2016Flevo Open 2016

On Saturday, the 17th of September six of us competed at the Flevo Open. The tournament was held in the huge Topsporthal in Almere and with nearly 400 competitors this was one of the biggest tournament in The Netherlands. A great way to kick off the new competition season!
